Wildcat Leaving Wales... :(

Was just reading from their latest email...
We're on the move!

Brecon has been our base for more than a decade, but the opportunity has come to move to Scotland. We'll be a little sad to leave the Brecon Beacons, but having the Cairngorms just up the road has its attractions. It's a big move for family and business, but all extremely exciting.

We'll be moving in late May, and the shop will be closed during this time. Orders placed after 12pm Friday 26 May will not be dispatched until we reopen on Monday 5 June.

We've suspended custom frame bag orders for the time being while the new workshop is fitted out. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.
Congrats guys... I think. Maybe I'll have to come up and visit at some point; I really do need to get myself to Scotland for some riding eventually!

Also means I can go after some of Ians KOM's locally and it'll be harder for him to come and get them back.

Was a bit surprised to get a newsletter email from them this AM, I think it's the first I've had.

Best of luck to Beth, Ian and the kids, hope all goes well in your new home.

Wales's loss is Scotlands gain

There surely aren't many Wildcats in Wales, whereas "down the road from the Cairngorms" is Wildcat central.

I just need to find out where they're off to so I can do some stalking :o

Hey guys & gals,

Yes, it's now officially official that we're off to Scotland at the end of next month :o

Wales has been most excellent for the 11 years we've lived here, and from a riding perspective I've known it for 26 years, and in that respect I'm a little sad.

But, having a whole new area to get to know is very exciting indeed. I should also be able to put my fat bike to good use up there too, and it is a lot closer to the start of some important bikepacking events :-bd

I've got a bit of a drive though for the BB200 if I'm going to maintain my straight run of entries and completions.

That's what you think

I'll still be down in Brecon for work from time to time, so I can keep an eye on my collection :ugeek:

It'll give you chance to escape Colin's stalking ... saying that, he made the journey himself last year

I can confirm that Wildcat along with the family are heading to Scotland.

We are heading to North from the end of May. It has been in the planning stages for a long while now but now the movers are booked.

I will try and keep the disruption of the shop and orders to a minimum but I am sure something will get hidden behind a wall of boxes in the move.

We do only send out 1 newsletter a year so you are never bombarded and maybe just find out something exciting if you do sign up.

Here's a link to the full newsletter

Thank you all for you kind words. I will really miss Wales but new adventures are to be had.

Beth,

All the best for the move Ian, Beth and family.

You might find the conditions are different that far north, it's all good for product research.
