I can't say I've seen this range mentioned before (picked it up from a link).

Firepot dehydrated meals. What's standing out for me is that the range is available in a couple of sizes, right up to a 1,050 kcal Orzo Pasta Bolognese.

Has anyone tried these yet?

Haven't tried them but I agree they do look good.

I've found a link here: https://www.outdoorfood.com/collections ... ated-meals

I may grab their taster pack to give them a try.

I was on their site yesterday and put a Taster Pack in my shopping basket but didn't press the Order button.

I got an email today giving me £1 discount off my order :-)

The discount code is "Hungry"

Just finished off a chilli and rice.

Cooked it in the bag, but left it a bit longer than the instructions said as there were still some bits not quite cooked/rehydrated.

Quite tasty really and the portion size was great. Should keep me warm through tonight.

Was definitely considering giving the higher protein / fat options a go.

I had the Orzo Pasta with Bolognese on Saturday night. Again, it could perhaps have done with a little additional rehydration time but it 2as properly tasty and filled a big hole. I'd definitely buy it again.

From a review
If I'm being picky, Georgio Locatelli isn't going to be losing sleep and Jamie Oliver needn't worry - this isn't a perfect risotto but let's be realistic... this is freeze dried and rehydrated on a hillside with boiled stream water!
I have ordered and look forward to the pork n beans and the risotto...

Ooh... They look good and no yucky soya :-bd

I did notice you can only use that code within a month of a taster pack order( also over £20) so not sure if it will work without having first got the taster?

Think I'll be ordering some anyway
