:-bd 4 days 16hrs. I'm totally battered right now so will put something together in a few days. The route is really good, even all the hard pushing is worth it. I feel like if I never rode in Wales again iv seen some of the best parts from the brecon mtns to the snowdonia range. It was truly stunning. Right now to get a huge plate of food and a coffee somewhere.

To be continued......

It took me 3 attempts last night fella to work out my time and I still got it wrong.
I must say having doubted the Brooks saddle I can now confirm that it is possibly the best saddle iv had to date. No aches or soreness, and I can definitely say I put it to test...Best now speak to brooks I'm sure they won't want this back now

Yes we definitely did, started off wet then we had hot sunshine. Then we got very cold and very wet, and then we both got snowed on for 1hr 1/2 and then the sunshine came back out to see me home. Lets say it was interesting weather we had!

I will be interested and watching to see what the fast elite of us can now achieve on this route.

Well done Mike, a top effort in a great route. I’m still gutted I couldn’t finish it with you, although on the plus side I’ve been sat in the sun all afternoon! The diwnside is that an unexpected nap on a lounger has left me with a very red face!!

@jase haha I came home with trench foot ( 4 days in wet soaks is nasty..Take talc ) a sore knee and a swollen wrist fella but yes definitely worth the discomfort

@Steve spot on pal more enjoyable to ride that section and made a refreshing change to a push after that monster yomp across that plateau above Llandovery, that took us best part of 4hrs I'd say in the dark over the night and in the morning!

GPX please.
Is this feasible in January/February?
I can already guess the answer to: Is this sensible in J/F?

If they're dry / cold then no reason why not.

Could I have a copy of the gpx too please? Considering a summer ITT. Is there any plan for a group start?

As much as I think it'd be great., trying to find a slot that doesn't clash with other stuff and that interested parties could agree on would be an epic exercise in cat herding, so doubtful.

What would be the best bike for the route?
Will a gravel bike with 650b 47s be ok? Or will my rigid 29er be better?
