With a piece of scrap aluminium profile, a zee cage and a couple of nuts and bolts I came up with this to allow me to use a bottle with my old framebag. Quite pleased with it.

did u tap a thread into the alloy pal for the bottle bolts?

No mate just 4x 4mm holes, cut the cage bolts down and bolted the cage to the alloy with 2 4mm nylock's that were filed down a couple of mm so it sat right on the frame. Taped the frame and bolted it on.Its solid!
