Anyone have any recommendations for bib shorts that have minimal/no padding?

Finding that the padding becomes sweaty after a days worth of riding and that not helping my undercarrage the next day.

Like my Gore bibs but the feeling isnt being reciprocated at the moment.

Castelli are minimal in the padding area

was going to recommend the same. Tri gear is very little padded as you want to swim, run, ride in it.

I use Assos but those are like nappies. Thick and heavily padded.... but soooo comfy (for me) for any kind of length.
Saying this because it may be more down to solid moisture management of the chamois then solely it's thickness. Chamois cream may help too.

Clean them with anti-bacterial wipes. They take up next to no space. Turn them inside out and let them dry properly.

I've managed 8 days riding on the bounce with the same pair of shorts like this.

Another thumbs up for Assos. Expensive but I have zero regrets. Happily do 12 hour days and then ride the next day. I do use the creme.

I'm sure I've got some Polaris ones that don't have any padding as standard. All my others, I've just unpicked the stitching and thrown the offending pad in the bin.

I like endura shorts/bibs. With the cool max pad. The gel pads don't wick moisture away as well. The endura pads are reasonably thin and are good day after day. And they are not rediclously expensive.

Then why bother with cycling pants in the first place?

I don't usually but in winter, sticking a pair of bibs beneath your shorts obviously helps keep you a lot warmer.

Ah... now I get it, running tights et al. don't come as bibs.
