WRT Swop 'n' Shop Jumble

Post by Matt »

So i've got loads of gear I need to sell but can't be bothered with eBay / post.

A WRT jumble was mentioned once back in the annals of time.

We could give it another go?

I wonder whether 'pitches' need to be grouped together near where the 'action' is? ... don't know, just a thought. Perhaps the weather didn't aid the cause much last year either.

Might prove difficult as everyone will be arriving by bike.

Tried to sell stuff at the 2014 WRT but had no takers

I'm not there this year but another option is an honesty type thing where you put all your stuff in one place and label it up with the price and the owner.

Or list it out roughly in advance and then take it there

Cheers zippy for the v brakes!
I've got loads of stuff probably junk but if it can go to a good home, it's better than going to landfill !;

Zippy, I have some 26 er wheels if you are interested. They are Roval Control SLs, in really good condition. Around 1450grams. Got some unused a Rocket Rons as well in very light flavour. I won't be at the WRT but you would drive almost past my place from Essex to Wales (Warwick).

If Zippy doesn't grab 'em Steve, I'll put a hand up. I'm shifting all my parts of the Cadex over to Zippy's Montana and a set of wheels to replace my aging 217's would be ace. Every time I ride on 'em now, I hear Burty calling them "bacon slicers"...scares the willies out of me. :)
