Wanted - cheapish 2 man tent

bit of a long shot but here goes...

I've only got 1 man tents & tarps but one of my daughters has shown a bit of an interest in starting to come out with me. I suspect it will progress from garden camping to quiet campsites and then a "proper adventure" (her words not mine).

I don't want to spend a lot in case she doesn't get past the garden stage, I've seen cheap ones in high street shops etc. but not sure of waterproofness and quality.

Anyone got anything spare or even perhaps to loan for a couple of weeks so she can decide if she really wants to do it (obviously beer & cakes vouchers in return for any loan).
