Bearbones Jerseys & Gilet - On their way

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Okay, you can now order your new Bear Bones attire in time for the forthcoming heatwave. Choose from short sleeves, long sleeves or a gilet. The long sleeves will be a continuation of the short sleeve design and if you want to know what a gilet looks like, simply squint at the picture and imagine it without sleeves. All three items feature a cunning full length zip, allowing almost infinite adjustment to ventilation and cleavage exposure. Jerseys have 3 rear pockets, gilets don't have rear pockets but do feature a 'key pocket', gilets are also windproof and water resistant.

If you like, you can have your name on the back but please note - whatever you write and however you write it will be what gets printed ... someone did spell their own name wrong last time, so double check because I won't. If you don't want any self-promotion, just leave the box on the order page blank.

If you like your cycling jersey really tight, choose your normal size but if you like to be able to breathe at the top of a long, steep climb, I'd advise going one size up and if you're chunkier than the average bear, maybe go up two - manufacturers size guide on the order page.

Ladies - there is a chance that we can get some female cut jerseys but due to low numbers and the fact they're a different material they're likely to be a few quid more and only available in short sleeve. If you're interested in a jersey designed for the feminine figure, email me and hopefully we can get something sorted.

Sorted.

I've been after a thin, long-sleeved, full-zippered jersey for ages and never seemed to find what I was after.

Do we get to see the LS and Gilet before we order?
What are Gilets made of?
Is it the same or some super windproof material?
Do they come with pegs in the rear pocket?
Just asking.
Zazen - nothing happens next this is it.

Stu. Can you make sure Burty's name is spelt properly. It's P H I L for reference.

A quick question for those that had the last run, hows the fit?

Are we talking race cut skinsuit or just slim?
I'm usually an extra small for the tight fit but sometimes get away with small if the sizings right (yes I am hobbit sized)

Now to ask the accountant (partner) nicely....

It's pretty nicely cut

I'm a 38 chest, which puts me in the medium I think. Mine BB jersey is a large, which is a nice fit alone, and also fine with a baselayer. Plenty of space to breath, but there's no flapping or spare material

I would unless you're going for that deep south redneck look and wearing it on its own
Stuart - any idea on sleeve length on the LS jerseys?
I don't know Ben, they're just long sleeved - sorry that doesn't help much.

You'll have to use your imagination. Gilet and LS are the same as the SS, just a bit more or a bit less.
What are Gilets made of?
Is it the same or some super windproof material?
It's something called G-Tex - lightweight, windproof, breathable and water resistant.
Do they come with pegs in the rear pocket?
The only rear pocket is a small zippered key pocket, so no pegs.

Great design. Unfortunately I have no clue of the sizing on the ordering page
Could any one point me in the direction of a fit? Chest 118cm, fat part of tummy 103cm , broad shoulders and 185cm tall. Arms are normal (not Trex short, or orangutang long)
And when will you ever go away from imperial measuremnts

hope someone can help

118cm equates to 46.5" chest, so if you like 'em tight I'd go with XXL or 3XL if you prefer a little room.

Yeah, sizes are the same - however, I'd probably go 3XL given you'll likely wear it over something else.
