3 riders so far for this easy, do as you please bothy ride this Friday 26th after work.

Park on the Mawddach Trail around 6.30, grab an evening meal in a pub, ride 6 or 7 miles up to the Bothy.
In the morning do as you please, 3 of us will be heading around the trail centre trails to the trail head cafe for breakfast then back to the cars.

Pack light, have fun and be home for mid afternoon on the Saturday

Post up if you're interested or pm me for more details

I think Mike and myself are due out for a few days toward the end of the week ... that usually means anything could happen, so you never know

I was looking for your mobile number to text you about this last week, but it's not on my new phone for some reason.
Please PM me it Mark so you can avoid/don't miss out in the future.

I think we are due a Newbourgh Forest bivi ride again this summer, if you can suggest some dates when you are about.

With the bothy stop over and Barney's snoring keeping us up all night, we should be off the trails by 11am, we don't want to get caught up in this mayhem showing us up

No problem, we are aiming to park* and meet up here at 6.30
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=26 ... 14037&lm=0

Eat here
https://www.georgethethird.co.uk/
How posh? table under my name for around 7 people booked for 7(ish)
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=26 ... 18455&lm=0
Bikes can be stored around the back or in storage, I will sort this out with a guy there called Ian

For those who can't make the 6.30 start, the 7 to 8pm arrival window car park* is here
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=26 ... 18521&lm=0
After a bite to eat when we are ready we'll head along the Mawddach Trail, north on the path at the side of the A470 and then route 82 to the bottom of the trail centre southern fire road climb, where we will pick up wood and coal for the bothy heating, please bring space in your pack to help share the load.

Saturday, is a do as you please ride back to the cars, some of us are going the trail routes to the trail centre café for breakfast and maybe lunch in Barmouth.

So only minimal gear is required**

*I've no idea if there is overnight car parking allowed but I'm sure it's ok
*at your own risk
