Sorry about the down-time.

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Some of you will have noticed that we were off-line for a few hours earlier. I'm told that the main server was hacked, anyway we seem to be back to normal now ... which is good, I had visions of having to start from scratch

Ah, don't worry about it. At least Redtube was still running ok.

It seems that the Cotic site was/is down as well.

My work have blocked this site!

STW gets through the filters ok though although there's minimal bike content on there.

Just to put your minds at ease. The servers are backed up on a daily basis plus we have back-ups too. It's unfortunate that the servers went down on one day and the forum software threw a wobbler the next but thanks to Scott the sql error has been fixed. As for starting from scratch, you should know by now that Stuart knows f all about f all when it comes to computers. Sorry sweetheart

Glad you're back up and running.

Glad you keep backups too, would be very annoying if we had to retype all the tripe we've keyed in over the years.

In the meantime I had to read stf :|

Although it did lead me off to a thread about some bloke's garage.

If you get excited about sweet welds check it out, if not perhaps stick to redtube

I was worried then. Thought all the hard work by Stu and Dee over the years might have been undone X_X

Certainly no need to apologise! Good to have you back...

You realise how much time (maybe too much??) you spend on here when it is not available...

Oh good. I was getting to the point where I had to put effort in to procrastinate yesterday.
