Sometimes life is much easier, I have 1 bike (mountain that is, I have loads of others) and 1 set of tyres so no questions there, once I get onto shoes though ......

I suppose there's bliss in having one bike, well I have 1 mtb 1 road, so its an easy choice, though It gets complicated when temperature is involved when deciding bags/shelter. As for weather, expect the worst, and double it if you're in wales

You guys are not helping with my nervs or kit list :D

Got my kit sorted this morning after setting up Dynamo and tubeless tyres last night.

One Wildcat Ocelot partial frame bag and a small Wildcat Tiger with 5 litre dry bag. Two bottles on the frame and nothing on my back. (No front harness either for better aerodynamics )

I've actually been carrying around my bikepacking kit with weight in the bags for all of my recent rides. If I've done it right, the kit I'm actually taking will weigh significantly less than what I've been lugging around for training.

...though I am planning on carrying a HELL OF A LOT of food.

The main thing I seem to have is loads of food :/, filling half my bar bag and most of my camel back

I'm going with a bike, somat to sleep in incase I have to stop, some warm clothes and a shed load of food to keep my pet worm happy :0) see you all there apart from the racers amongst us!

ok well all my stuff is in the back of my dads campervan ready to go to wales strait after work tomorrow !

here is a photo of what too much food and stuff looks like attached to a bike ( there is a camel back too :/ ha well less stuff than i have taken on most trips just more food to get me up all the hills !! and i do plan on sleeping at some point for a couple of hours as im not that tough ....

Rebuilt the forks last night, and tonight it's brake hose replacement and bleed. Then I'll think about packing - the basics and some food might be enough. Look for a bloke panicking at 10am on Saturday as he's forgotten something really important!
