For me. Winters coming and as I think about winterising my bike I think of singlespeed but then also think...

Should have kept that rohloff and dropout.

Also, should have kept that ti kona. Twas nice too.

my marbles.....lost them years ago.

bike wise......nothing. bikes are tools for adventures. if I need a tool for a certain adventure, I buy it. and sell it when it becomes surplus.

My '78 Z1R springs to mind and I sometimes think I shouldn't have sold AW my Golite Shangrila 3 ... but she makes good use of it, so better than it gathering dust.

My Specialised Langster, the most fun I've had in a bike. By the end, everything was so worn out, that only the frame was worth keeping! Should have stored it rather than giving it away for free

Not bike related, but a Mesa Boogie Calibre22. Stupid to let it go.

We sold ours a few tears ago. Regretted it to the point that we bought another one.

T2s do look great but very, very slow. Not actually much space in them and these days seem to be restored and very expensive or old ratty, in realisable. And still quite expensive!

Just be clear it was the T4 that was sold, regretted and repurchased (not the same one though!)

We were going to get a T2, but after seeing loads we realised that for the money we were going to spend, I would spend more time fixing it than using it. So we got a T5 instead, bigger, more comfortable, safer, quieter, more reliable, cheaper to run, better in all respects. Still want a T2 though for when we're going nowhere fast!

Regret selling my Mk1 Escort. Biggest heap of rust this side of a scrapyard, but fantastic fun at under 40mph. Lust after them now, and one day I'll get one, forest arched, 5 link rear, a bit breathed on......

My Dad had a mk 1 Escort Mexico until my brother wrote it off. One of my all time favourite cars too

Regret every selling my cove hummer. It was vaguely exciting and would of made a great bikepacking bike.....damn it. Heres a picture of it when i took it to Nepal

makes me sad to think i sold it, it was a fantastic bike and sold on a wim to a guy who got a bloody bargain.

I regret going for pizza at Pappagones in Finsbury Park a few days after finishing renovating a '97 Kona 'Lava Dome' and having it half-inched from outside (two bikes, one either side of a lamppost and 4 locks between them).

I regret selling my 853 Inbred as it rode lovely.

I'm shortly going to regret selling my Cotic 'Solaris' as I love it but there's no other way to get my hands on a nice 29+ bike.

That's about it, fairly happy with the stable otherwise.

Never got rid of mine, not that I listen to them now, they sound far too tame.

Not to forget that obviously it's going to be an appreciating asset, and therefore is just the same as putting the money in a bank account/savings account/ISA etc. etc. - which is obviously sensible, ergo it is sensible to buy a T2

I've still got a 69" bug in garage somewhere brother-in law has got a t2 in mint condition he's scared about leaving it anywhere
