Thanks Ian, and thanks Stu for putting me on the reserve list. Can't believe I've missed out. I was away and forgot all about it! Fingers crossed I get in later on.
Cheers Mark

Oh Dear. Thats what I get for supporting the other half in her Tough Mudder event. Still, considering 20? didn't start it last year I'm hopeful.

Uh-oh, thanks to some fallers / drop outs I seem to have mysteriously floated up from 11 away to now being just 2nd away from the actual; entry / eligible list. Eek!
time to dust off the old MTB ( in vain hope anyway) :-)
need an excuse to do some training whether I get to go or not!

List has fallen down to page 6 on the forum but it's been continually updated as people have come and gone. I'm sure it'll continue to change but just take a look and let me know if something isn't quite right.

Can't find any details on the BB200 page about the date you're emailling the route out Stu. Will it be the Saturday before (3rd Oct)?

Hopefully not Sunday as I'll now be away working from then until a day before the ride  At least the company will be paying for my 'tapering'

Right, due to being ill-prepared for this and also to the fact I'll struggle to even get to the start line (car issues) I'm giving up my place. How do I hand it over to someone on the reserve if anyone wants it at this late stage?

Well, that's it. Anyone who wanted a spot has been offered one and the sensible amongst them declined.

Please just check that your name's on the above list if you think it ought to be, ta.

Give over ... it's a lovely route which at first count would seem to contain over 7000m of ascent :-bd

Something like that Pete, although a lot obviously depends on who's gps and what software you believe.

I could do you a special guest slot John, as the Travers Northern Ambassador I think it's important that you're there really.

Yeah but you get to come down again  . I wouldn't worry too much, none of the climbs are actually that bad apart from a few short sharp bits of tarmac.

I'd better get my brakes checked given it sounds like there may be 7000m of descent.
