I may have a week off between jobs in February and was thinking of a possible bike packing trip!

Would anyone have any suggestions as to where might be a good place to go?

My preferences are for somewhere warm ideally & a point to point route would be cool!

Unfortunately the week off is looking like it might be 16th - 20th February and coincide with school holiday making flights expensive

Some of us are off to Rovaniemi....not that warm mind you.

I had to google that... Finland.... Doesn't sound like fun to me

Flights to Malaga are pretty cheap at this time of year

Israel has some great potential, cheap flights, warm and loads of good trails. Interesting place with a good riding scene. PM me if you want a contact or two there.

And the Caminos of Spain are good for easy navigation and accommodation. Pretty tame but very enjoyable and well worth a trip.

+1 for Malaga as a destination. Cheap flights and access to the Sierra Nivada mountains. I did an 8 day trip out there last March and it was fantastic.

Just head over to http://www.skyscanner.net/, pop your local airport in the 'From' field and leave the 'To' empty, then consider the options.

Malaga will be nice, as will all of the southern coast of Spain. Alicante and Murcia will warm too.
