Home made front guard

Post by Eka567k »

I was worried about my front light becoming caked with mud and stuff and I'm to tight to spend 15.99 on a front guard so i made one out of an IRNBRU bottle. And drunk the lovely orange liquid in the process. It doesn't look it but there is plenty of clearance.
These are dead simple and cheap to make. If the bottle is a bit flimsy then you can use an old plastic ring binder.
Its help on with zip ties through 2 holes made with a punch.
Its a bit wonky at the moment so i may make a better template and use a ring binder again as soon as this one cops it.

I have a Mucky Nutz one that I used as a template (but made a touch longer at each end) to cut out from a plastic folder. Works as well as the original
