And dropped off a hope RX4 caliper, I picked up a copy of the new cyclist off-road magazine and there was an advert for these four pot calipers designed to work with sram dropbar shifters. I’m hoping for better feel and modulation. I’ve never been entirely happy despite multiple pad and disk combinations.
Just the front for now, I’d they deliver I’ll pop one on the rear, at £70 it’s cheaper than upgrading to a force setup which I suspect would only be lighter.
Much as I love my woodchippers they do limit brake choices.

And delivered an OMM Kamleika Smock in a rather fetching bright red . It’s a little snug but not obscene, I went with the XL, XXL would have given me the extra room but too long arms.
Why is everything made for tall skinny people?

Which way? I’ve a RAB wind top which is a perfect fit, I’m big chest but only 5’8” I’ve wondered if women’s clothes might be a better fit for me.

Agree, RAB arm length is good. Montane and recent Berghaus higher end kit pretty good too. Under armour compression base layers have really good arm and leg length. Also found Haglofs to be excellent for trousers, pricey though

Do they do versions that are bells as well?
Bearbonesnorm wrote: Sat Apr 13, 2019 3:18 pm yes, like a cock ring but hopefully smaller.
You speak for yourself, hopefully not too much smaller, I've got quite big thumbs or is it a small.... nevermind

The postman brought me some more bum butter, stans fluid and some tyre plugs.

Also a Hope 160 to 180 brake adapter. The xt one I currently use has 2 long bolts that go right through it and into the fork. The Hope one bolts on with 2 short bolts and the the calliper bolts to it with 2 more short bolts. This way all the m6 bolts on the bike are the same length so a single spare covers replacing any missing bolt.
