Sold a spare frame to a pal who'd snapped his. Idly looking as bikes on gumtree, which I've never done before. Saw an as new (literally, as new) Pinnacle Ramin 1 for £325. Bought it immediately. One frame out; one bike in. The bike is pretty damn nifty for the money. I've no room for it.

This was last weeks purchases.
Jersey Gore Element, really nice, some great features.
Shorts Endure Singletrack, lighter than the old ones, but a better fit for me.
Answer 720mm wide bars for the Kona Ute, these will make steering when loaded a bit easier.
Challenge Grifo 120Tpi for £12.99 from CRC and a Conti CX Speed, after splitting one of each.
2x Aldi 50L waterproof holdalls, role top with lots of straps, will be a stand in for the Bob Yak trailer bag.

The postman should have been but at 18:37 UPS updated their delivery tracker saying my parcel had been delayed by a day. So that's a day of my life I won't get back.

That right there is how you build a long term customer base.

Great service indeed. And smart business.

A replacement cone from http://www.storminstovesystems.co.uk/. All-round first-class service. Works well enough with the supplied stove; looking forward to trying it with Stu's 22g beauty.

Just remember that unlike the standard stove, there's no air gap between stove and pot with a 22g.

Yup. The first cone delivered was cut to the wrong spec which didn't leave the gap necessary for Stormin's own stove. He quickly replaced it with a new one at his own expense, hence my comment on his first-class service. However, I still have the original and luckily it's sized just right for your no-gap-required ultralight 22g stove, which I'm expecting to be hotter/faster.

Revo returned from exposure after a repair.

Output port had stopped working. Likely due to me plugging the power lad in there by mistake.

Five year old unit with many, many hours of (ab)use sent in for: inspection, diagnosis, replaced circuit, cleaned lens, two new rubber port covers, return postage - £15:50!

Pretty reasonable price in this day and age :-bd

Mt Skidmore from Wildcat and some long Merino socks from Charlie.

FYI Giro merino socks are made in Italy, they appear to have just made the XL ones longer but not wider. Luckily I have narrow feet, avoid if you don't.

A pair of ritchey funky-flared-drop-bars

Already in the bike. Feel really comfy. A nice reverse curve on the main section of the drop, flat top se too all the way to the levers and the drop is pretty shallow with a gentle flare.

Good stuff.
