The postman delivered and apidura frame bag hydration bladder and a pair of endura mountain bike shorts. Unfortunately, both have been delivered to work and I'm off with covid. The hydration bladder was expensive for what it is, but it should enable me to use the space in my frame bag more efficiently than a standard bladder. It sucks being short sometimes. I think this is all I need for my trip in August

In the garden test it seemed ok as it's on to of the air mattress that lifts it out of the water for the self bailer to work.
The foam is only used in WW, it can be used without it too in WW if needed.

I'm going for a gentle river paddle on Saturday with Barney to try it out in the calm water set up

Finally decided to return my 2015 Arkose back to its original singlespeed configuration, but keeping the Sram 40t 1x chainset. Managed to get free delivery using code "TRYOVAL", otherwise shipping was £9 Comes out at same cost to the cheapest Wolftooth cogs I found on the Web. Looks nice, weighs nothing, just hope my knees are up to it!

Two things for me today - ultra shiny middleburn RX8 cranks for the Jones which is a silly and a shameless self indulgence as the Jones is looking decidedly battered these days but I'll probably cover them in tape in any case....
Also a nice NOS Moore and Wright micrometer so I can measure things between 1" and 2" very accurately, which as you will doubtless appreciate is a very useful thing to be able to do.

...with a 29er Mezcal g2.0 in 2.35 width for the back of the the Silk Road. Popped it on a spare wheel at lunchtime just to help it get to shape, no tube nor sealant, and still fully inflated. That's a first, shame it needs to go on another wheel now!

Seems to comes up true to size on 30mm inner width rim. Was hoping they'd be slightly oversized so maybe should've gone 2.6 on the back after all

Not on that model, they rely on adjustment at the shifter end (which is generally easier to do while riding along).

I did, as I also fancied the journal for a while. I think the stickers went on sale a week after subscribers got the chance, but they often sell out v quickly. I really like the tubeset homage, and also the ATB manifesto!

I did ask you to defer posting it until you had a moment you clearly had a moment yesterday !

The restrap bar bumper arrived yesterday, not fitted it yet but it's certainly not looking or feeling bendable, and all the slots are in great positions for straps, and it fits voile XL straps in the main positions too which is good

Are Parcel2Go a bit sub standard or was I just unlucky? Parcel tracking that was utterly sub standard, bore no resemblance to reality and seemed designed to confuse and alarm customers. Weirdly it turned up several days after the tracking said it had been delivered with a Yodel postage sticker on it

Unfortunately the dry cag turned out to be too small. Feck!

Anyone want a Peak dry cag, size medium or large?
