Wear it pink! The money has been donated
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so we're hoping that Bear Bones Bikepacking will do our bit to help this worthy cause. All donations given to 'feed the bear' this month will be given to the cancer research charity, so if you don't normally donate to help keep the forum going, please, please make an exception this month.
There is also a chance for you secret pink wearers to come out into the open. Make your October trip a 'Wear it pink' bivvy. We of course need photographic evidence which you can submit to this thread and we'll give a prize to the best pink effort.
NB Don't forget to get the wife's permission when borrowing her pink underwear

Nothing wrong with pink...

I've had it on for a week now, it's pinching a bit, do I have to keep wearing them till November?

Re: Wear it pink!
I'm now in receipt of some 'pink gear' which I shall be wearing while riding and obviously providing photographic evidence to back it up ... so I'm hoping I'm not alone. A few more 'pink' feed the bear contributions wouldn't go a miss before the end of the month either. Actually if there's enough contributions I might be persuaded not to produce the photographic evidence

I have been looking around for something pink to wear for this weekends trip but I got nothing.

Re: Wear it pink!
I tried a pink thong (a lightweight option obviously) but there was no way I was going to pedal more than 30 yards without doing myself some serious longterm damage ... so I settled on the pink pig socks and very comfy they were too.

Sorry Stu you just didn't try hard enough.
Now these guys really did go for it. I am possibly mentally scarred and will struggle to concentrate at our next business meeting
Bear Bones raised £54 so thanks to all those who donated. Stu and I will make it up to £100 so it's a nice rounded figure to send to the charity.
