I know its a relaxed affair, but what time to people get back to base?
I'd like to get going not too late on Monday for a family do (4hr min drive) but I'd like to time it for a bit of banter plus more importantly some tea and cake!
I know start time is around late lunch time and thought return time is 10amish but now I'm not so sure and can't find anything written anywhere, though there's every chance I've missed it!

Return time is any time you want, although Dee might get a bit pissy if you rock up before 8am.

Re: WRT timings
As the flat one says ... turn up whenever you like. Usually most people are back between 12.00 and 3.00 but start to drift in from around 9.30 and the latest is often 4.30ish.
May the bridges you burn light your way

I think our plan, is to camp pretty near Stu's on Sunday night and roll down the hill Monday morning 9:30-10ish for lashings of tea and Bara Brick!
Re: WRT timings
OK, that's good, thanks.
I won't be massively early as I'm hoping for a sleepfull night and a lie in as there'll be no kids waking me up, but I suspect I'll be there mid morning by the time I've broken camped and ridden in

Currently our route planning says we have 40 miles to do on Monday to get back to the finish

You may be back early Nick if you have gear problems
