I particularly like this rule.
:DAlong the distance there are not controls, the objective of this adventure is to gain the bet with if same and swindling it does not have some sense.

Was trying to figure out that site until I was posted a link in English the other day ) We're doing a ride to Garda trip in July (1-2 weeks) and I have a new road/dirt track randonneur bike due fairly soon. This looks like a lovely route, apart from adding a whole load of miles to a ride ending at Garda.
Anyone got any trail / route tips for a ride taking in the Alps or Dolomites, or starting in Tuscany, that finishes at Garda? I've never ridden in Italy for more than a day or 2 so have nothing apart from the end destination in mind at the moment. Thanks and sorry for any ensuing hijack.

I wont be able to attend the grand depart on this one but am slowly hatching a late summer idea to have a go at it.FLV wrote: I'd love to get hold of the gpx for that
I emailed Andrea about a GPX file to do it later in the year. Basically, he's saving it for the grand depart but seems to be happy to distribute the file for attempts after that.
Seems a nice chap.

Andrea seems like a nice bloke, but, he's decided to charge to ITT the course it seems.
I'm sure theres a lot of reasons for this, probably mainly red tape.
He included a few forms to join up to an association and wants medical certifications, declarations etc. Along with 58Euro registration and I think, another 15 euro to cover registering from overseas.

Perhaps you could offer to "translate" the website for a discount
