T 'n B ... where you going?
So what direction are you thinking of heading?*
The forecast is looking pretty good at the moment, no rain, winds dropping and maybe even a little sunshine. It might be cold enough for a bit of frost too which should help dry things out.
*Only want to know so me and the bear suit can avoid the riff-raff

NE first off, then S though not to Newtown... Then West, avoiding the coast, up to Mach and then back...
110 miles according to BikeHike including 5 Spar shops (I think)...

Re: T 'n B ... where you going?
Option 1 is SE then SW then NW then NE
Option 2 is WSW then N then NNE ish
Sam and Will are supposed to be working on a route too, we'll see.

Slightly south, then west, north, east, south, and north again back to the start. About 100miles and 4 Spars.

Re: T 'n B ... where you going?
Current plan is West to Mach, loop around Cadair Idris and head back on Sunday.
Re: T 'n B ... where you going?
NW to Dollgeleu then take in some sea air. Looping back in land for an overnight reasonably close to home. Probably only 3 Spars but with pie-purchases in each. Maybe 80 miles.
edit: I've kindly been invited along with flatfishy & gairym so going south.

A bit NE then south to Carno then west to Aberystwyth then north to Borth, in to Machynlleth, North to Dolgellau then maybe back over the tops to Llanbrynmair. 204km but have no idea where to stop yet, it will probably be when I get knack erred.

Re: T 'n B ... where you going?
south (being led astray???) for me too!
if coffee is soft what even softer beverage might there possibly be for someone who doesn't drink tea or coffee?
also, here's a nice shot of Aberystwyth today for those planning on sleeping the (now non-existent) dunes:

Re: T 'n B ... where you going?
I'm actually easy to cater for - I generally only drink water or ale.
I think it's safest to stick to water before two days in the hills. :?

Re: T 'n B ... where you going?
I'm heading SW, across to Nant y Moch - Talybont - down to what's left of Aberystwyth. Up the Ytswyth and across to Devil's Bridge. Not sure then - I might slip into Llanidloes :) Worried I might get lost behind Nant - but isn't that the idea? :D
Re: T 'n B ... where you going?
I've not got a clue yet!
Room for a small one to tag along anyone?

I'm not sure which way I'm going yet but welcome to tag along
Re: T 'n B ... where you going?
Nowhere near as fit as you lot, so a very unambitious loop S then up to and through Carno. Then looping back N, sleep, and back for early tea and cake. Only 30 miles or so and only 1 Spar......I feel inadequate already :(

By setting off from the start you are already 264% more awsome than everyone who will spend Sat night watching Stricktly etc.crewlie wrote:Nowhere near as fit as you lot, so a very unambitious loop S then up to and through Carno. Re: T 'n B ... where you going?
As newbie Southern softies we've got a very modest plan to head slightly SW and then W to a posh bistro before retiring to our luxury accommodation. We've got loose plans to head N and W in the morning before looping back to the start.
