Right so ive got to buy a new headset for my new cross build, what is the difference between a normal stack type or semi intergrated like the superstar one?

Which r the best value for money/quality for around 30-40 pound?? Ive always used chris kings but dont want to spend that much!!

What type of headset does your frame require?

Standard - semi-intergrated - integral?

Straight steerer - tapered?

Aye, you just need a standard (external) 1 1/8" headset. I quite like the Crane Creek S3 but I'm not sure they make them anymore. Failing that, you won't go wrong with something from FSA for what they cost.

I've just stuck an FSA Orbit X in my Cotic. Was cheap from On-One, gets good reviews and seems to work.
