I can put my rack in back to hook your bike on?

If anyone has a OS map of the area can they bring it?
The weathers looking good which opens up a few bivi options and its easier to plan a little route using a map rather then messing with GPS.

I was planning on going, My grandson insisted that he go too but I think it would be a bit much for him and the logistics wouldn't be so easy, So I am taking him much closer to home around Greenfield and pitch somewhere round Dovestones for the night.

Sorting out my bike today. Will be riding from Derby on my road bike and assuming we will bivy same place as last year more or less.

My back is not 100% (I displaced my pelvis last weekend) but it is improving. 2 days ago hills and out of saddle efforts were sore but hoping to be ok. Road will be less jarring.

Will text Chew if I abandon enroute.

I'm back home and have just about sorted out Sunday (late) lunch now = more brownie points :)

Was great to meet some new folks in the flesh. We bivied in a sheltered spot at the west end of ladybower and managed to avoid the very strong southerlies that were savage at times on the ride out. Got a fire going (in the end) unfortunately everyone exept AW and I had already gone to bed by the time it got going properly... There is photographic evedence of this - it looked at one stage that it wasn't going to burn. My quote of the night was probably 'its defiantly going now; this stick is noticeably less damp!'

Sorry to have to miss breakfast at the pool cafe. Next time...

Good to meet the regulars and put names to faces of a few new people. Saying it was windy was a bit of an understatement, as heading out I had pedal downhill at times
