• Does anyone use the Altura Dryline Waterproof Cycling Rackpack?

I like the look of the Altura Dryline Waterproof Cycling Rackpack, but I can't find any decent online reviews. Does anyone here use one, and if you do, what do you think of it? They seem especially vague on how it's attached to the rack.

I have one on my commuter. It attaches via 2 velcro straps:

I tend to not bother with these though and just use 2x voile straps as it's quicker to attach and remove at either end of the commute. It's decent, definitely waterproof as there's an integrated roll-top drybag type thing with taped seams. Downside is it doesn't hold a huge amount as the structure is padded and has some rigid reinforcement to hold its shape, but this subtracts from the internal size. Good for food, tools, layers etc, but not the most efficient way to carry a single item like a tent or sleeping bag.

Rubbish!

Wasn’t secure on my tortec rack, so had to use extra straps on it and after a two hour ride in the rain, everything felt damp inside.

Much prefer a heavy duty dry bag with a couple of straps securing it

Thanks for the replies, I should have been more specific though. I'm not intending to use it as part of my bikepacking setup, just as a day pack when I'm out and about. This could be anything from mostly road rides to off road mountain routes.

How do you thread the Voile straps?

Like this (+ the velcro tab for the front of the rack). Obvious downside is you need to undo them to get at the zip, I just do this to speed up fitting and removing at either end of my commute

I did similar but threaded it under the rack instead to lock it off. Was looking for a picture but can’t seem to find one
