Old chains & cassettes

Post by Leerowe76 »

What do people do with their old ones ? I have about 15 or so chains & numerous cassettes all over the garage at the moment, I don't currently own a welder but may buy a second hand one to maybe make some bike kinda art/tat.
Anyone have any ideas. Cheers

I collect em and give em to my 'DIY type' builder mate. Told me that the last time he went to the scrap/metal merchants he made about £120. So maybe yours might be worth about £15 or £20 so far. Keep collecting and find your nearest metal merchant point!?

I've used old cassettes to hold clothing rails in place.
