Bah, not sure I can make it work this year. Two days later I'm supposed to be in Spain riding with Duncan and (Sweary) Dave.

Not sure it would be sensible to take my last minute panic weekend and schedule to be away.

Well I'm in twice due to finger slippage  . Just have to do all the GRs two times I suppose.

I quite fancy going to see a slate quarry, so might just head in the direction of one of them.

Surely the answer is to pack before the WRT and don't unpack until you return from Spain.

Doh, I'm already riding elsewhere that weekend. Is it always over the early May Bank Holiday? If so, next year...

Epic fail on the train front. I could just about stomach the £180 fair but there isn't a bike space on any service between here and there on either the Friday or the Tuesday. Sorry Stu, your event CO2 footprint just went up....

That's right, WRT entries will close on Saturday. Should you miss it .... don't go bothering me with your sad 'am I too late' and 'could I still enter' type emails

Stu, am I still OK to add my son on please? He won't need a t-shirt or anything, just to tag along on the adventure.
