Hi all.

I'm looking for a very lightweight, packable gilet and was wondering what you'd all recommend. Hi viz / reflective would be a bonus.

Thanks very much

I've got a Pro-viz ...

Cons - may not be quite as light as you'd like and some people (not me) complain they don't breath very well.

Pros - very high viz. Hardwearing, robust and keeps a surprising amount of weather off.

I was going to recommend the PX / Carnac one as mines is dead good, but they are out of stock and bizarrely, £40. Mine was a tenner.
I've a Pearl Izumi one which is good, but black, which was cheap from sport pursuit - they do hi-viz ones so worth a look.
My BB one is fairly hi-viz but getting a bit threadbare....

I use a Van Rysal/decathlon one. It's light, bright and not expensive

Crikey, how much brevet gilet. I have two normal ones and an insulated one, they're ace. Super light, pack into my waist pack hip belt pocket

The dhb one which is lined with polartec alpha is very good. Breaths well and adds a suprising amount of insulation for very little extra bulk. Roadie cut though if that's a concern
