A week outta Chamonix in June?

We've got a week in the Chamonix area next June on mountain bikes.

The number one goal is to do the TMB. However a bigger loop incorporating that would be even cooler.

Any recommendations on routes would be much appreciated.

Hey dude, give me a shout if you'd like to chat options (either message on here or email on: simplegairy(at)gmail(dot)com - as currently taking a break from social media so no Instagram message access).

There's quite a bit of riding to be had.....

I'd do the TMB anticlockwise then spur off from Orsieres for 2 or 3 days and head further east into Switzerland on the Haute Route - it's stunning and there's some ridiculous riding. You can ride as far east/go over as many cols as time allows then just drop down to the valley bottom, jump on the train (or ride) back to Orsieres and ride the last day of the TMB from there.

This is 2 days riding from Orsieres to Arolla (with a cheat ski lift through Verbier). You could drop down into Sion halfway through that second day and be back in Orsieres an hour and ten later.

Whatever you decide, the TMB is fantastic. Enjoy. :-bd

edit - don't party with Gairy and his mates the night before though
