I have deliberately covered this frame in stickers and tape to make it look messy, to reduce theft. It has been used for touring. Turkey. Morocco. France. Spain. Greece. Lots of scratches but a solid bike.
Hope Evo Pro 2 hubs with Mavic ex721 rims. Bearings easily replaced. Rear may need doing soon but still good.
The front wheel and seat clamp have an anti-theft key/spanner.
Schwalbe Marathon Mondial tyres 26x2. Excellent condition. Rear almost new. Probably the most hard wearing and puncture resistant tyres available.
Fork. Rockshox. Recon u-turn. Adjustable 85-130mm with lock out. Good quality coil fork. Better than my expensive Fox and Rockshox airs
XT rear derailler. Bontrager saddle. Crank Brothers Cobalt seat post. I use clipless pedals so supplied with plastic flats. I can supply a pair of worn V12s if needed.
Brakes. Avid BB7 cable (need a service).
For extra £. I can supply a Tubus Logo Evo rack and Ortlieb lightweight panniers 20ltr x2. Back Roller Plus(?), both probably the best available.
I'm keeping my Bikepacking gear.This bike can be used as a mountain bike with mtb tyres or touring across Africa with the rack and panniers or Bikepacking of course.
or just for commute.Bars are narrow as I have removed the Ergon cow horn grips.
Straight grips now fitted.
No bottle cages.
