Just looking at this route as a trip potential for next week. Anyone done it/recommend it? Any thoughts or advice appreciated.

There is a gruesome hike-a-bike a few miles before Moffat. At one point ray removed it and put in a much better alternative but then it went back in again. Worth hunting out this version - mebbes PM ray although he's not posted on here for ages. Apart from that bit it's a great route
