Ta from the Tower's.

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Obviously we're all another year older but also obviously, none the wiser

In the order which they arrive from my head to my fingertips, I'd like to thank ....

Everyone who entered and rode - your ability to throw caution and care to the wind for 3 days is something the world needs more of. Long may it continue.

Taylor, Matt and Si, the 3 #w@nkers ... year in year out, like clockwork.

Karl and Cat, this years LHC leaders. As a one time professional guide I know what a demanding and tiring job it can be holding a group together of differing abilities and requirements while making it look like you're not actually doing anything.

Collette and her lovely baps ... I'll say no more.

All our sponsors ... some years prizes can be hard to come by but even in the current climate these companies (see T shirt for details) stepped up to the mark and donated generously - please do think about that whenever you're looking to make a purchase in the future.

Lastly but by absolutely no means least, Dee. She genuinely is the unsung hero. From T shirt design to cake maker, she does the lot and without her, there would be no WRT or anything else for that matter :YMHUG:

Thank you and Dee...

An annual treat I always look forward to...

A cracking ride, nearly thwarted by a hang over. Thanks to Rob for getting me to leave Mach and carry on.

Had a brilliant time.

Thanks one and all. Good to see you all and welcome you into the field.

Si

Ta to you all from us riders too & for encouraging us out into the wilds of Welsh wales. It’s always a fantastic weekend - and always gives a great story or two to recount over tea and cake.

And Ta from the Team. :-bd :-bd :-bd

This was my ninth consecutive WRT and I don't want to imagine a May bank holiday without one. It's a major highlight of my year and my son Michael, who has come with me (as minder) for the last 3, has already asked if I'll be doing the next one.

So, Ta!

Bollocks. What a nightmare, absolutely knackered, bike filthy, clothes smell like sheep, overdosed on chocolate peanuts, kept meeting loads of strange people on bikes, didn't know where me next meal was coming from, kept awake by cuckoos and mice, gates gates gates, got soaked. Did I mention gates. Total nightmare.

In other words the perfect weekend away :-bd

Thank you very much for holding it all together and for the darts. No other [non] 'event' comes close hence why I don't do any others. Takes lot of effort to make it look like it doesn't take any effort  .

Thank you Stu and Dee and everyone else! :-bd
Thanks to Reg for the company on the first afternoon. (You'll be glad you didnt follow the rest of my route. There was a lot more hike a bike up steep hills! - some boulder strewn ones too !)
I unfortunately missed the cake as I was the last back, but that's my own stupid fault!
