Well just the one really but not too much of a trek for some here - Dunalastair Castle up there in Scotlandshire

Been close to that but never noticed it - wonder what the local reaction to sightseers will be...
I also know of a fine tin shed not too far away

Definitely haunted!

Not a million miles away (just 73), but not been there. One to add to the list :-bd

Reminds me of the old Denbigh Asylum or the nut house as we called it, fantastic looking building which at one point was to be demolished but last I heard it was to be resurrected into flats of some sort.

Little vid there for those who don't know it :-bd

This site has some haunting, scary and sad material when it comes to abandoned places.

Blobby Land in Cricket St Thomas is looking very sad!

We stayed in a holiday cottage on the Dunalastair estate a couple of years ago. It was actually the old laundry for the now derelict house and about 200 yards away from it. You can wander up to the house but it’s all boarded up and not easy to get into. It seemed amazing to me that no one had found a way to restore it (even though it would obviously be a very, very expensive project). The location is incredible and the building itself is beautiful.
