Not too far from Glasgow.

Intriguing. A couple of hours along the canal from my house.

Old mental hospital though, could be spooky!

Could be a good Halloween night out 🎃

Think that Lennox castle. Not far from my house.

There's fencing round it but gaps you can get in if you're keen. Not bivvied there and a little too urban for me.

This disused monastery is 8km from home, next to a mineral water bottling plant, also disused. Lots of lurid tales locally about it's history Image

Can't place the first one. I'd be more freaked out kipping there than in the middle of a dark and stormy wood... Mainly fear of Glesca Keelus rather than spooks and monsters mind!
There a couple of old estate lodges up past Glenlivet that are empty, furnished and abandoned; which I've fancied a bivvy in.

I’d love to arrange an outing with boners there. Anyone fancy it next year?

A good friend of mine (I'm sure a handful of people on here will know him too) is one of those urban explorers that visit and 'gain access to' abandoned or derelict buildings all over Europe to take photos; indeed he earns money from his photos. Very good photographer. Infuriatingly good mountain biker too
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

I'm sure one of those will turn on Grand Designs, sooner or later

Here's another potential - no idea where it is though.

Hřensko, Ústí nad Labem Region, Czech Republic. :-bd

I'll try to get a couple of pics up at the weekend that would be perfect for Boners, as I've forgotten my flickr login and how to upload pics
