Thought this might be interesting to someone. Create a laser fabric cutter. Looks like an interesting project.

Cool! I imagine that would save quite a bit of time making things like bags. I was surprised how much time it took me to draw and cut out all the bits for my frame bag - probably longer than the sewing.

I use wall paper to draft patters out . Also cutting notches on to mart wheer reference lines end et fabric patxhesor holes where lines insect eg pocket corrber it marks curves pass through..

I think it would take me longer to draft the fabric panel as a cad drawing, the cut it out using a laser cutter.
..I use wall paper to draft patterns out. I also cutting notches to mark where reference lines end on edges of the fabric or punches holes where lines intersect eg pocket corner it marks curves pass through.. don't forget a seam allowance. I generally use 10mm which is the width of the needle point to edge of my sewing feet.
