I’m a huge fan of the halo vapour 35’s

They do a 50mm one too.

Thanks, the kinlin and the vapour are the same rim I think.

I think 50mm might be too wide unfortunately. What's the narrowest tyre that'll run on 50mm rim?
My stooge has clearance for 27.5 x 2.8 or 3" I think a 29x2.6" on a 50mm rim will be too big.

I'm using the Kinlins with 29x2.6" Mezcals and really like the set up. Built up nice and easily too.

Are WTB Scrapers still available? I got a few and they've always done well.

Can't find any. I've got a 27.5 scraper which has been grand.

is the mk3 QR rear? I have a surly rabbit hole 50mm wide x 29 rear wheel you can borrow to test with if you like? Its an old hope hub though that can't be converted from QR and will need a tyre fitting

Thanks Rob. Yeah, it's a 135mm back end so That'll be worth trying before I build the wheels up.

29x2.4 front and 2.2 rear in the winter slop 29x2.25 both ends dry winter and summer.
Got Rebas on the front that a 2.4 tyre clears easily. I wouldn't want to go any larger on the rear.
Stooge is the short stay version very similar to the Mk3.
I think I ran larger tyres on 650b rims on a similar frame. Possibly up to 3" but would need check.
Andrew would know about wheel/tyre sizes.
