Evening. I'm looking for some warm boots. I see these are recommended.

My usual boot size in almost everything is a uk11 or EU 46

Columbia's size chart says a uk11 is an eu45 and that a 46 equates to a UK 12....

So, my question to owners of these boots is what size did you buy by, EU or UK?

Mine are marked UK8, EU42. Same as all my other boots and shoes.

I bought a second pair, used for short (i.e. non-mountain) walks in the winter. Love 'em.

Out of stock everywhere in my size anyway
