Can I create a GPX route on an Android tablet offline?

I currently use my laptop for creating GPX routes using Garmin Basecamp with either OS or Open MTB maps. If I were to swap to an Android tablet does anyone know of an app or apps I can use to do the same job. The biggie is I must be able to do it without an Internet connection.

Viewranger will do that. It's been discontinued so might not be the best permanent solution, but it will do it now. I don't know, but would assume Backcountry Navigator offers much the same function.

The OS app does although you have to download the maps with an internet connection first.

Cheers. I found some Youtube stuff on Backcountry Navigator then vanished down the Youtube rabbit hole for a few hours, I came across OSMAnd which looks good too. I've ordered an Android tablet so wish me luck.
