Been delving into it a bit deeper. Interesting that many of the Scottish photos were taken by a chap called George Berwick, a resident of Fife who used to turn up to our cycling conferences back in the early 2000's - a jolly decent bloke who seemed to spend all of time on his touring iron. Not sure what became of him or if he's still around.

I also noted many photos that we can relate to - the maneouvering of bikes along supremely boggy trails, through forest, gorse and bracken and over desperate river crossings :-bd

Maybe we should all ride gravel bikes...
