So I was just looking for some info on the Exped site and I've just seen they do about 9 different Schnozzel pump bags now.

What madness is this? Why was I not informed?!?

Seems a bit ridiculous. I made my own by heating up short length of 20mm plastic electrical conduit with a heat gun (doesn't have to get very warm before it starts melting), squashing it a little bit to increase the diameter and give it a ridge to hold it into to the mat.

Sure you could make an adapter if you have wrong size schnozzel.

I made some slits in the other end and bent them out into a flange* and sewed it into a hole in a bag (a piece of waterproof nylon, folded in half and sewn up two sides). The whole thing must have cost about 50p and taken half an hour to make. Works perfectly.

The bag I have was supplied with the mat. I think it's the UL one.

It's just the bags themselves that are different sizes not the valve - I think Exped have a standard valve diameter and profile across their range.

From the three ranges it looks like the yellow and green ones are both 20D material (maybe an error in the stated spec) whereas the orange ones are 70D.
