The younger me would have said pick the fastest bike but nowadays, comfort wins

If the bike is comfortable and you’re siting comfortable, (I personally believe) you’ll go quicker

Always comfort. The older I get, the less of a hurry I am in to get anywhere.

If they're both comfy enough, then I'd let terrain dictate.

Comfort for sure as per what others have said. YD roads, particularly the single trackers, can be pretty rough.
