I'd say it was. Has the addition of the skirt which I never knew existed. I reckon it'll fit and you'll love it

Depends, by your own admission your a big fella, I’ve had a deschutes and now a Luna solo. I’m 5’8” in my heels, for me it’s not too much trouble to keep the feet from the wet single skin but much beyond that and I reckon you’ll be trying hard to avoid damp foot end scenario. The side guys are key in avoiding that situation, plenty of room but constrained by the angle of the sides.
I’ve often thought that a single pole shelter with some head and foot end 12” poles would be ideal.

I think the plus is the same size as the normal but with the addition of the mesh.

I'm just under 6ft and it's big enough for me but at your height I think it would be a bit small, there's not much free space at my head/feet.

Don't they do a plus size of the Lanshan 1? Or is it just bigger for 2021? I think the Pro version, which is the Lunar Solo knock off with a sewn in groundsheet and skirts is the longer length as well. But don't quote me.

Indeed they do. 20cm longer than the earlier versions. Still not sure it'd fit you big fella, especially with a comfy sleeping pad.

Shouldn't be a problem Tony. I put it up yesterday with trekking poles so I could take some measurements and have a weigh up ... a pair of carbon poles is now curing. Hopefully I'll get chance to try them tomorrow.

I use both a Deschutes and Lunar Solo with no problems, I'm 6'1".

I saw someone post a picture on STW of their Polestar and stated they were using BB carbon poles

I have the new Alpkit Aerobeam one man version, and i reckon you'd fit in their no issues. i am only 5'11" but have 48" chest, but there was a good foot of space above my head, i had all my bags from the bike above my head easily and there was still plenty of room either side of me also, really large internal space for a 1.2kg tent
