Candidates for an expanded swear filter
To lighten the mood on here a bit, anyone got any words or phrases that could be added to the eccentric swear filter that we occasionally fall foul of. I've got a couple that would raise a smile.

Can we do 'go nice places, do good things' for AK, Sonder and Alpkit?? Just thinking out loud...
Maybe we could call it 'it cracked' sorry... I know they're good people (Shirley)...

Re: Candidates for an expanded swear filter

ok here we go... of the moment, I feel....
campfire > mess ? (as in "we arrived at our bivvy spot and as always the first thing we did was make a huge....")
or maybe campfire > 'hot tub'?

Even though I've never had problem with mine, how about 'valve remover' for Lezyne

Re: Candidates for an expanded swear filter
Which one, the bike+gear or the tarp?
Please please substitute 'running' with 'using' as well.
And it might be fun to switch:
have > of
were > where
than > then
(plenty of others)
to really annoy the grammar police like me .
Good game anyway!

In the spirit of fostering adventure I’d vote for a rule that’s toggled on and off randomly and swaps East for West and North for South.

No no, Charlie, not dangerous at all - brilliant idea . And up/down, right/left, in/out, shake-it-all-about, etc. Although it would make zero difference to my wanderings for example since everything seems to swap randomly all the time for me already .Charliecres wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 2:40 pm In the spirit of fostering adventure I’d vote for a rule that’s toggled on and off randomly and swaps East for West and North for South.

May you always have tail wind.
Re: Candidates for an expanded swear filter
"Platform" > "bicycle".
(That'll add some confusion to Reg's railway ramblings and bimblings ).

Of course Gravel was one of the Slag brothers in 'Wacky Races'. The other guy was Rock. They drove the 'Bouldermobile' if you remember . Not sure if he invented a type of bike as well or not.
