Oi!

I'm listening as I write! Was it the guy meeting his friend now they can cross the English-Welsh border? I heard cycling mentioned, but not bikepacking.

There was definitely mention of visiting pubs so I thought it sounded like a typical 'boner! :-bd

Yes, I heard that and craned in to listen...the presenter was, like, dont know what bikepacking is? I listen the 6 music all day and have heard him talk about commuting into London. He'll be along soon enough.

Radio 6 utterly rules

Driving down the M5 last night Mark Reilly played “Late for the train” by Buzzcocks

I never ever imagined I’d hear that tune on the radio

Is there any other music radio??
It was John, from Stoke, going bike packing with the boys. Came just after Bow Wow Wow's 'I want Candy' (at 1:53 here- https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000v9nk)

Tenuous link to this place - I've always assumed BearbonesNorm was a reference to 'Cheers', the theme tune from which is the theme for Keaveney's show (I think).

Worry not, there was no mention of this place.

Gideon Coe at 9pm on weekdays is very good.

It's not Cheers, it's Hill Street Blues.

Ah, course it is. That's age for you. Hill St Blues, Cheers, Taxi and MASH - great TV.

My radio only plays 4 and 6.
I bet there's some other good stuff out there. Any suggestions?
I did enjoy a couple of between the ears episodes off of bbcr3 that were linked via w.a.y.l.t.n?

Similar, only 4 and 6 in ours. Two 40 year olds and a 4 year old. Works well.

My wireless has got things like Light, Home, Hilversum, Third on it. There's no numbers at all, so I'm not quite sure what everyone's on about to be honest.

Can't receive FM here, so the wireless in the workshop is tuned to R4 on LW - woman's hour and the test match for me. Perhaps odd that I'm not a woman and am no fan of cricket.

Before you turn into a woman? I'm not sure the Radio can do that.
