Cheaper Version of Titan Ground Anchor.

Post by Ray Young »

Stu recently reviewed the Titan Ground Anchor pegs and seemed impressed. I thought I could do with a couple of those but they come in 6 packs for £24. Here's a plastic alternative at £9.99 + p&p for 4.

Lots of tests on the trek lite forum and it's not showing up that well

Easton nails still do better

As you'd imagine, soil type / structure makes a big difference Ben. I also think some people in internet land have been somewhat unfair with what they've chosen to make their comparisons against.

I do entirely agree that soil type makes a huge difference, in fairness that's flagged on the thread too. Plus whether you put it into the ground in the right way etc

When I first discovered them I really did like the idea of them, the only reason I didn't pull the trigger was because they're not the smallest to pack.

Anyways, I'll let everyone make up their own minds, the more options the betterer! Thread here for reference https://www.trek-lite.com/index.php?thr ... sers.9074/
