Martin B wrote: Fri Feb 05, 2021 2:40 pm I read in another forum somewhere of a guy making pogies and he used a magnet behind the bar end cap and stitch another magnet to the lining of the pogie to keep it in place yet still easy to remove. I think he sandwiched the lining magnet between to squares of corduroy first then stitched that in place.
Hi Martin, B
That's, another good idea :-bd , as long as they don't corrode
Sean, I think you worked out that is not 1 inch grid. just 1cm

I also used the rain pogies and mesh full finger gloves summer weight?. -(Pearl Izumi Divide gloves, they suit my long fingers) Surprisingly my hands stayed warm through out.
Adding a press stud onto the bar ends certainly made them more manageable. (red popper, picture Right side). Rather than a limp lightweight shell material, it anchored it. Putting my hands in & taking out, is a doddle. :-bd
The air was bitter like to remind myself to keep inhaling just through my nose. There was a bit of snow and ice about. But hands all good.
