The OEX Salamanda arrived (bought for someone else). 1.26Kg, seems well made. Short poles at corners of bathtub and a very light, slightly worryingly thin hoop pole which is a bit of a fight to get through the tacky/sticky sleeve (stop sniggering at the back). There are some imperfections on the groundsheet - may just be poor colouration, as the fabric seems the same but is white in parts instead of black. At 6'3", it would be too short for me - the raised hoop isn't really in the right place, so fully extended my head contacts the 'roof'.
It's going back for refund, as I've opted for Hunka and bicycle 3.5 in the Spacesaver sale instead, with lines and groundsheet from BB services. The guy it's for is a tinkerer, so will probably enjoy the fanning about with a tarp.
