Good to see most of the new stuff is open (I assume?) in some of those pics, mate of mine built a lot of it sub-ing for Clixbys.

Dog and Partridge in Tosside is an excellent pub with good food and great beer. Easy schlep in and out on the fire road from the trails.

Be interested to know when you're going if company allowed as only an hour up road from me.

Thanks for posting this content. The location is a great idea. I'm not far from there and would like to do the same sometime. The idea of being able to bivy in great scenary, do singletrack and sneak off for a pint is genius. I guess a bivy location not far from the top fire track would work best.

BTW, the Old Vicarridge team rooms a little down the road in Tosside are excellent for day time scoff. Although the 'hub' has now opened, I haven't heard any reports of how good.

It was briefly open last year. Was good, people running it were friendly. D&P also has a bit of a tea room out the back IIRC.

The food and beer in D&P has always been good honest, hearty stuff whenever I've been.
