22.4kg at first including backpack But the backpack with the water res felt a bit horrid even though it's an Osprey and years ago I wore it like a coat...

Added res into framebag and swapped 1L saddle pack for the Revelate dry bag and holder thingy over the Karl-Dropper adaptor.

New weight 22kg so even though a bit heavy, I was happy (making do) with that. This included weetabix, milk, ready-brek, stove stuff, 1.8L water, 2 dehydrated meal packs, lots of peanut or sesame seed bars... Plan was to try and limit interactions and not be hungry after 55 miles without a veggie food joint...

Got back and weighed up (ate almost everything) and it's now 19.6kg...

We including water weight, or are we cheating and going pre-(re)fill?

All up - water included, at 1kg/L it makes a hell of a difference.

Nope... water being in there. Do you mean I managed to get it pretty light?? About 1.8kg (potentially 2.2kg but couldn't tell as the measurement on the res is without the baffle insitu) of water and an extra 500ml of milk for breakkie.

Think i emptied about 600ml after measuring the post-ride weight and included the rubbish as I'd not managed to spot a bin discard enroute...

I'm aiming for ~18kg with water. We'll see.

...and no opinion on light vs, heavy, just checking the "rules".

19.4kg

iPhone, money and bag of trail mix missing so ~19.8kg ish.

My lightest ITT (full bivi kit included) set up to date. Pity I’ve an extra 4kg on my midriff

Not BB200 though but my local ride from the door version on Dartmoor: DB200. Planned with experience of BB200 2018 in mind and weather to match.
Manoeuvres commence 0530z tomorrow.

Just noticed you were out there at the same time, hope you're ok in this overnight weather and fared better than me.

Where did you start from?

My ride was on local to me on Dartmoor rather than the real deal.
Weather was good through till 2pm then it rained till 7pm.
Finished by 10.30pm. Pretty fast ride, not up to BB standard from my 2018 experience

With my cheapo luggage scales my fully packed Epic weighs in at 14kg.

However I am also carrying a Camelbak that adds 4kg (incl 2 litres of water).

So 18kg total (plus a bit of extra food to go in pockets, so probably around 19kg all up)

:o svelte! How'd you do that?

I only weighed my bike before food and water and it was around 14.5kg, so it was probably closer to 18kg+ all in.

Yeah that's ridiculously light. :-bd

I was 16.7kg with food but without water. So about 17.5kg setting-off weight.

Have you got a rucksack as well? I would need a saddle pack that size just for food

Or has that just got your sleeping bag and shelter and what we can't see is you're wearing full waterproofs with all the pockets stuffed with soren loafs
