Bit of silicone sealant editing on the sole and jobs a good 'un. Might need to raise the saddle a couple of inches though....

Surprisingly they seem to have dropped out of fashion before Tri bar aero extensions :)

New Ortleib seatpack that clips onto seat rails and a collar round the seat pin.
Looks too narrow up front as noted and I'm always a bit suspicious of plastic brackets that can break leaving you in the lurch somewhere....

from Bikepacking. com...

"We managed to take one on a few rough rides to see how it performs prior to launch. Find a detailed review .. "
Doesn't constitute a proper review, poor showbikepacking. com.

As far as I can see the clip it butts up again the saddle rails in a slight channel. aApair of J shaped clips pull in opposition, hooking this into the saddle rails.
If a hook breaks- it all fails.. call me cynical...

I guess that if a hook breaks you have to strap it to the seat rails like an ordinary bag for the rest of the ride with a spare strap, a shoe lace or a bit of bailer twine?

Which funnily enough was what I had to do with an old Ortleib saddlepack many years ago....

Maybe I'm as cynical as Phil but it always seems that Ortleib spent considerable time looking for solutions to problems that don't really exist.

More good news:
Schwalbe's Magic Mary now also comes in the stickiest (Ultra Soft) rubber compound for the "light" casing (Super Trail).

"Ultra Soft Super Trail"
No matter the names, it's a fantastic tyre to ride to such bothies:

Is it just me, or do those cleat slots look a lot more off-centre than other shoes?

I agree- they do not look central to the foot

Same here.
Most cleats come with lateral adjustment, should be okay I guess...
I actually go as close to the centre (of the bike) as possible and would probably have to use the full range of the cleat's adjustment.

Shimano XM9's are like that, as are my new Lake Mxz's. I also recall a really good pair of nike bike shoes I had yonks ago were the same - I think its a wide shoe thing and you don't notice in practice
